Dr. J David Loftis - D.V.M.

|
J. David Loftis, DVM, is a fourth generation Rockwall native! His parents are both Rockwall natives, Dr Joe and JoAnn Loftis. Dr. Joe started his practice in Rockwall in 1958, and moved Rockwall Veterinary Hospital to its current location in 1970. Dr. David is a 1983 graduate of Rockwall High School. He attended Texas A&M and graduated from Veterinary School in 1990. Dr. David returned to Rockwall and entered into practice with his father in June of 1990. He took over the practice in 2000 when Dr. Joe and JoAnn retired. He is passionate about his family, his patients, and his community.
Dr. David has served as a member of the Rockwall ISD Board of trustees for 9 years, and has been a member of the Noon Rotary club since 1990.

Chrissie Loftis - Business Manager

Chrissie met Dr. David at Texas A&M and they were married in December of 1987. She received her BS from Texas A&M in 1988. They have 2 children. Following in her parent's footsteps, Haley is a freshman at Texas A&M. Their son Reed attends Rockwall High School. Chrissie is very active in the community and loves living in Rockwall.

Rebecca - Office Manager

Rebecca is the Office Manager at Rockwall Veterinary Hospital. She took an early retirement from Southwestern Bell over 15 years ago in order to do what she loves best- working with animals. She has been with RVH for over six years and enjoys every minute of working with the clients and their pets.

Lindsey - Receptionist
|
|
Lindsey joined the team at RVH in mid-summer of 2008. She is presently attending Collin County Community College. She plans to complete her basics and further her education in Social Work or Animal Science. Lindsey owns three rescued shelter dogs - Boo (Miniature Pinscher/Rat Terrier mix), Neesi (Australian Shepherd mix) and Juliette (Pit Bull mix). She also owns three adorable cats - Binx and Dibs (black cats) and D.C. ( Tabby Cat).

Mandee - Certified Veterinary Technician

Mandee has spent most of her adult life devoted to helping animals receive the quality care she believes they deserve. Since 1999 she has held a position within a veterinary hospital ranging from military working dog facilities to emergency only practices. She acquired her current status of Certified Veterinary Technician in 2001. Mandee started at RVH in May of 2008 as temporary summer help while her husband of 13+ years was deployed to the Middle East. After a four month hiatus, she rejoined as a permanent part of the team. Besides her husband, Jesse, she dotes on her three amazing four legged kids, Holly (Basset Hound), Gunnar (German Shepherd) and Kylar (Great Dane).

Magen - Veterinary Technician

Magen came to RVH in June of 2010. Her career in veterinary medicine began in 2005. She acquired her Associate Degree from Bossier Parish Community College in May of 2008. Magen went on to get an Animal Science Bachelors Degree from Texas A&M University - Commerce in August of 2010.
She and Kallie have two pets: Rosebud, a female black Toy Poodle/Dachshund mix and Bigfoot, a male Domestic Short Hair-gray cat.

Jani - Veterinary Technician

Jani has worked in veterinary medicine since June of 2006. She joined RVH in June of 2010. She has been married to Kenny since January 1, 2000. Together, they have one beautiful and spirited little daughter, Caleigh, born in January of 2005. They also have several animals: Bonnie Blue is a black and white Shetland pony, Jubilee is a black and tan Doberman Pinscher (female), Tibby is a red male Doberman Pinscher and last (and least, literally) is a fluffy little male Pomeranian named Ashton.

Ernesto - Kennel Technician

Ernesto joined our team in August 2008. Once he started working with animals he realized he wouldn't want to do anything else with his life. Ernesto is the eyes and ears of the hospital for the doctor and the technicians. He is the first line of defense for animals in recovery from injuries or surgery and boarded animals.
